Provide the city not only with a new and state of the art cultural facility, but also with an icon of reference. Blending modern technology with noble materials in a smart object half way between architecture and sculpture. A subtle beacon located in the central district, respectful with the surrounding architecture. Besides the design complies strictly with the program required indoors, and accepts the challenge of the renovation of the outdoors area, specially the dialogue with the Municipality Hall and the sunken plaza in between; a place recovered for the people in terms of use and leisure. So there is also a strong urban commitment behind the way the new building is disposed on the lot.
